I am a former lawyer and college level English teacher. I hold a PhD from Yale University in Comparative Literature, and a JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. I have taught English literature and composition at Yale and Brown, and have helped run a program on Law and Literature at Princeton University. I also practiced law in NYC for many years at major law firms.
I hold the CELTA certification as an ESL teacher, and have extensive experience as a one-on-one tutor to foreign professionals and students here in NYC.
Teaching is my passion. I love working with individuals who are looking to improve their English language skills with lively and engaged conversation.
